Danny was born in London, England. He is a graduate of the University of Hertfordshire (LLB – Law), and a post-graduate the College of Law (London). He has practiced corporate and commercial law in a number of jurisdictions including England, Germany, Bermuda, and Canada, and is currently practicing law in Halifax, Nova Scotia in his role as Legal Counsel for a commercial airline.

Danny comes from a family of boxers, and boxed at an amateur level in England and Bermuda. In 2014, Danny was appointed a Commissioner of the Nova Scotia Boxing Authority, and was subsequently appointed Secretary and Treasurer.
